1992 - Michael speaks on MTV Japan’s announcement of "Heal The World Month".

1992 - Michael participates with painter Greg Hildebrandt for a pre-production painting commissioned by a producer for a planned film entitled "Adam at Midnight", a story set in New Orleans where Michael was set to play the lead part as "a male Cinderella type character"; the project was ultimately cancelled.

~January - Mid-April 1992 - "Yeah" and "Whatzupwitu" - Michael records with Eddie Murphy for Murphy's songs "Yeah" and "Whatzupwitu" for Murphy's "Love's Alright" album.

February 3, 1992 - Michael attends a Pepsi conference at Radio City Music Hall to sign a Pepsi endorsement deal, which will coincide with his Dangerous World tour. He explains his reasons for touring, and establishes his Heal the World foundation. A group of children sings "Heal the World" as tribute for him.

February 11-18, 1992 - Michael travels 30,000 miles across Africa, visiting hospitals, orphanages, schools, and churches through Gabon, the Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and Egypt; in Oyen, he is crowned “King Of Sami” by tribal chief Amon N’Djafolk. In Dar-Es-Salaam, Michael meets President Ali Hassan. Michael also interviews with "Ebony" magazine during his African excursions, discussing comparisons to his 1974 Africa visit, the Dangerous album, where he's heading, and politics.

February 21, 1992 - Michael and friend Brett visit Madame Tussauds; Michael views his own waxworks figure while looking through the museum. They also make a quick visit to the London Planetarium.

March 25, 1992 - Michael is honored with a Lifetime Achievement award from the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters. Jesse Jackson’s daughter, Jackie, presents Michael with the award, and confesses to being a big fan.

March 29, 1992 - Michael films the video for 'In The Closet' directed by Herb Ritts and featuring Naomi Campbell. He has dinner with the winner of MTV's "My Dinner with Michael" contest.

May 1, 1992 - Michael receives the "Point of Light" award from Mr. George Bush Sr. at the White House, for his persevering efforts toward disadvantaged and deprived children. He also visits 7-year-old Raynelle Tucker, who was mauled by four dogs two months prior.

May 6, 1992 - Michael, after reading about the fatal shooting of 9-year-old Ramon Sanchez Jr. who is struck by a stray bullet during a drive-by shooting, covers all funeral and burial costs for the Sanchez family.

May 13, 1992 - Michael shoots for his Pepsi commercial entitled "Dreams" with model Vanessa Sandin. Another Pepsi commercial with Michael singing "I'll Be There" on a piano is shot around this time.

June 1992 - Michael shoots for his music video / short film "Who Is It".

Kennedy International Airport's cargo hangars, announcing that he has teamed up with AmeriCares to deliver relief supplies (including blankets, medicines, shoes and winter clothing) to war-torn Sarajevo, that his foundation will be organizing the "World's Children's Congress" in 1993, made up exclusively of delegates aged 8 to 16 for an "innocent perspective on the world's problems", plans for "Convoy USA", an effort to heal the children of America's inner cities, and speaking on the importance of children in the world.

December 1992 - Michael donates £5,000 to British children to help them reach their targeted financial goal for raising funds to help starving victims of the Bosnian crisis.
