2000 - Michael records a message on Rodney Jerkins’ answerphone as a sample for So Plush's "Phone Messages", along with other artists, asking about the new So Plush album.

2000 - Michael records "We've Had Enough".

2000-2001 - Michael records "2000 Watts".

January 8, 2000 - Michael contributes a taped performance in Seoul of "Earth Song" for "An Evening of Stars: A Celebration of Educational Excellence.", an annual fundraiser for the United Negro College Foundation. The four-hour telethon is broadcast live in the US on over 70 television stations.

January 20, 2000 - Michael's co-production credit for the planned "The Nightmares of Edgar Allan Poe" film is reported; Michael reads the script in August, and plans to prepare for his leading role. 

May 10, 2000 - Prince Albert of Monaco presents Michael with the Artist Of The Millennium Award at the very end of the World Music Awards ceremony.

May 26, 2000 - Michael attends "Elizabeth Taylor: A Musical Celebration", a musical gala benefiting the Red Hot AIDS Charitable Trust and Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, arriving with Elizabeth Taylor and presenting her flowers on stage during the show.

~Summer 2000 - Michael records "Speechless" at his Neverland home.

February 2000 - Michael visits "Stan Lee Media" headquarters in Beverly Hills, California, and is given a tour by Stan Lee, who talks with him about teaming up to buy Marvel.

August 2000 - Michael begins recording conversations with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach about his life, which wraps up in April 2001. These intimate conversations became available in Boteach's 2009 book; however the unedited conversations without the commentary are available in the text document.

October 28, 2000 - Michael attends the "Carousel of Hope Ball", a benefit for the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes, with Elizabeth Taylor; Michael contributes a hand-painted plate for the silent auction.

October 29, 2000 - Michael shops at "Recycled Records" record shop in San Francisco, California after-hours.

November 2000 (Verify date) - Michael, Frank, Grace & the kids go back to NYC and check in the Four Seasons Hotel.

November 2000 - Michael records "The Lost Children".

Mid-Late November - Michael does a photoshoot for his Invincible album cover early, at 5AM, in order to attend a peace conference between Shmuley Boteach's eldest daughter and her school bully's parents.

~November 10, 2000 - Michael calls producer of VH1 special "King of Video: Michael Jackson" to compliment its quality.

November 21, 2000 -  Michael, in the evening, attends the launching of his new foundation Heal The Kids with Shmuley Boteach & Frank Tyson at his publicist Howard Rubenstein’s house.

November 25, 2000 - Michael & the kids spend Thanksgiving dinner at Shmuley Boteach home in New Jersey.

November 30, 2000 - Michael attends G&P Foundation's "Angel Ball", a benefit to raise funds for cancer research, in New York City, New York, at the Marriot Marquis Hotel, to accept the "Angel Of Hope Award" for his work helping the fight against cancer.

December 7, 2000 - Michael writes

December 19, 2000 - Michael appears on stage for the finale of WKTU's "Miracle On 34th Street" concert at New York's Madison Square Garden. He apologizes for not being able to perform because of having laryngitis, and wishes everyone a merry Christmas.
