Date confirmed in “Popscene” (archived) (“3-12-92”). Couldn’t be December 17, 1992 (archived) or December 25, 1992 (archived), since Michael is saying he is “getting ready” for the Japanese tour in Tokyo, which began on December 12, 1992. Also, this is the December 25, 1992 message.

Hi! As you probably know, I am getting everything ready for the Japanese tour in Tokyo. What I really wanted, more than anything, to find the time to send a message of love and thanks to all my fans in the UK. I can't tell you how exciting it is for me, all the way on the other side of the world, to know how successful Heal The World is doing in England. This song means so much to me. All the benefits will go to the Heal The World Foundation, but just as importantly, I wrote that song to raise people’s awareness of the problems that, as members of the human race, we all have to face up to.

We all have to make important changes, we have to learn to live and love together. Please join me in healing the world and making it a better place to live in. Thank you so much.
