February 12, 13-15, and 17-19, 1976 - Michael and the Jackson 5 perform in Manila, Philippines, at the Folk Arts Theater (13 - 15) and the Araneta Coliseum (17 -19). During this week, Michael speaks at a press conference (12), performs with his brothers on the local variety show "Student Canteen", and meets Philippine Superstar Nora Aunor.

February 16, 1976 -  Michael and the Jackson 5, without Jermaine, appear on "The Rich Little Show", acting in a couple of skits and performing "Forever Came Today".

May 10, 1976 - Michael's interview with "Soul" magazine at his family's home, discussing his family, his birds, leaving Motown, his relationship with Jermaine, and his thoughts on him leaving the Jackson 5, is published.

May 31, 1976 - Michael's interview with "Earth News Radio" with some of his brothers, discussing his discomfort seeing himself on magazines, and fan injuries at concerts, airs.

June 20, 1976 - Michael and the Jacksons appear on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" with guest host Freddie Prinze, and perform a medley comprised of 'Without A Song', 'You've Got A Friend', 'Behind Closed Doors', 'You've Made Me So Very Happy', 'You Are The Sunshine Of My Life', and 'You And Me Against The World', i nterview with the host, and Michael performs "Happy".

June 21, 1976 - Michael signs a contract to participate in a film tentatively titled "Twenty-Four Robbers", which is ultimately not produced.

June 23, 1976 - The variety television show "The Jacksons" airs with guest star Mackenzie Phillips.

June 27, 1976 - Michael's interview with "UPI", discussing his personal life (friendships, dating, education, driving, and dress) that spread around various news agencies, to coincide with news of the upcoming Jacksons TV series due at the end of the year, is published.
