Michael Jackson is joined by Mike Love of The Beach Boys as Jax was honored here last night, along with Matilda Cuomo and football Hall-of-Famer Lynn Swann, by One To One. The D.C.-based organization has units throughout the country aiding youths disadvantaged by their economic or social circumstances. The group cited the three honorees for their contribution to the betterment of youth. Beach Boys joined Bill Cosby and others in entertaining the gala crowd.
Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson met up at New York's Tavern on the Green after the two friends each received tributes at separate award ceremonies. Liz was presented with the Women's Fragrance of the Year award and Jackson was honored for his work with needy American youths.
