Dionne Warwick

The 77-year-old hit-maker recalled meeting the late Michael Jackson for the very first time, when he was just nine-years-old.

'He was nine years old and feisty little thing too, I must say,' she warmly reflected.

Dionne explained that her first encounter with the late star was when American record executive Berry Gordy took Michael to audition for Motown records.

'I was sitting in the living room when they came in... I got up to go to the bathroom and Michael sat down in my chair. So, when I came back I said.. ''Um excuse me, you're sitting in my seat, can you get up?''

'He says, ''I'm Michael Jackson!'' and I looked at him and I said, ''Well, I'm Dionne Warwick!'', the singer laughed… The Walk On By singer explained that Michael quickly expressed that he had heard her songs on the radio.

Seemingly unimpressed with the little boy at the time, Dionne comically responded: 'I said, ''Get your butt off!''
