Date range assessed by the facts that it was “recorded in 1978” (“Ultimate Collection” album booklet) and, since the first “Ease on Down the Road” single was released on September 21, 1978, it was most likely recorded after that date and before “The Wiz” soundtrack release date of January 11, 1979.
