Call to Jade Goody

Pop superstar Michael Jackson has phoned Jade Goody with a message of support.

The ailing BB legend was "blown away" after Jackson made the call to her hospital bedside to comfort her.

Brave Jade's condition is now so grave she can stay awake for only a few minutes at a time.

But a pal said she was so excited to speak to the King of Pop that she was able to hold a full conversation with him.

The Thriller singer, 50, knew Jade as she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 alongside his brother Jermaine.

Jackson promised he would get VIP tickets to his UK shows for her, husband Jack and her two sons this July.

Michael, who was in London to promote his comeback tour, heard about Jade's plight from a friend and demanded to speak to her.

A pal said: "He learned of Jade's suffering and wanted to lend his support and comfort her at this awful time. When she was told Michael was on the phone her eyes lit up and she mustered all the strength she could to have a chat."

While she took the call, Jade's close friend Kevin Adams - visiting her at the Royal Marsden Hospital - made her laugh out loud doing an impression of Jackson.

When Jade was too tired to talk any longer, Michael continued speaking to Jack to offer his help.

The friend said: "He was wishing them both the best and asked if there was anything he could do for them or the family.

"Jade and Jack were touched."

The pal added that Jade - a lifelong Jackson fan - was overjoyed to speak to the singer.

He said: "It gave her a real boost and hope that she'll be alive to watch him perform in the summer."
