Book Shopping Trip

Michael Jackson went book shopping in disguise, but ignored the camouflage section.

The… singer, who was wearing pyjamas, slippers, long black coat, a surgical mask and a trilby hat, headed straight for the fiction section instead.

But the trip was not exactly as incognito as he had hoped.

Photographers spotted the Thriller star at the LA store, so minders put up an umbrella to try to hide him.

...His spokesman claimed the reports [of illness] were a “total fabrication” and said he is in “great health”.

And he claimed Jackson was on the brink of securing a deal for a new world tour.

Jackson recently moved back to California after a year living in Las Vegas with his three children.

Despite reports the singer is broke, he has a £70,000-a-month mansion in Bel Air.
