At the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles on 27th March, 1993 Michael attended The Milken Family Foundation National Educator Awards. The foundation was established by Lowell and Michael Milken in 1982. The assignment was to support education and medical research. Michael gave a five minute speech and performed ‘Heal The World’ surrounded by a group of children.

At a three day conference for his Milken Foundation, he said that he and Michael Jackson planned on opening an education and entertainment cable television network.
