Offer to Buy "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" Car

In 1990 Michael Jackson spotted the world’s most famous movie car at a charity rally and offered owner Pierre Picton £500,000 to buy it.
But according to Picton no amount of money could tempt him to sell Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
It was his pride and joy and he turned the offer down, telling the singer’s representatives: “Michael Jackson enjoys playing with his toys and I enjoy playing with mine.”
