"The Shadow of Michael"

This spoof of Michael Jackson’s Pepsi commercial from 1984 led to Michael forming a lasting friendship of filmmaker Bryan Michael Stoller.

After seeing the spoof Michael contacted Stoller to say how much he liked it. The two were planning film projects right up to his untimely death.

Appearing in the spoof was a youngster by the name of Brandon Adams, who would go on to appear in Michael’s 1989 movie MOONWALKER.
