UNCF College Presidents Dr Elias Blake Jr (Clark college), Dr. Calvert H. Smith (Morris Brown College), and Dr. Luther S. Williams (Atlanta University) thanked superstar Michael Jackson for donating a portion of his proceeds from the Jacksons’ Victory Tour to the United Negro College Fund. Jackson received UNCF’s 40th Anniversary Humanitarian Award.

The Jacksons grandfather Samuel was a specially invited guest for their shows in Atlanta on 27th & 28th October. Speaking just prior to their arrival he spoke fondly of Michael saying he had offered to buy him a house and Rolls Royce.

“I’m quite content and I’m really happy where I am,” he said.
