Houston, Texas (Victory Tour)
Michael sits for Madame Tussaud's sculptor Jim Matheison in Houston, Texas.
Tussauds had first contacted Michael's manager Frank DiLeo about the waxwork in September. Michael agrees straight away, but with the "Victory Tour" in full flight, the sitting had to wait till November.
Mathieson takes photographs and makes drawings of Michael to be converted into the initial clay model back in London.
"The sitting usually takes an hour", a Tussauds spokesperson told "No.1". "But Michael gave us quite a bit longer."
He is obviously extremely interested in the waxwork. During the sitting, he tells Mathieson that he'd very much like to see the finished result.
A British visit is on.
