They gave me a party and invited my favorite pianist, and then, there was a long ribbon all the way to where I was sitting, and they had me follow the ribbon like follow the yellow brick road. Follow the ribbonthere was a Rolls Royce with a big ribbon on top of it. They had told Janet to shop for a car of my favorite color.  She had bought a big red Rolls Royce.

One of Katherine Jackson’s favorite songs, which son Michael sang to her at her birthday party on 4th May 1984, staged at the Bistro Garden Restaurant in Beverley Hills – Michael also flew in his mother’s favourite pianist, Floyd Cramer, from Nashville for the occasion.

Michael also paid a special 15 minute tribute of his mother’s life and handed over the keys to a £75,000 Rolls Royce which was wrapped with a huge white bow. He said:

“You’re the greatest in the world, Mom. Happy Birthday.”
