National Youth Movement's "Pride Patrol" Award
Chris Cadman, author, “Michael Jackson the Maestro”
In New York ahead of the dates for the Victory tour at Madison Square Gardens in August 1984, Michael was presented with ‘The National Youth Movements Pride Patrol’ award by Reverend Al Sharpton.
The award was in recognition of The Jacksons helping kids who couldn’t afford a ticket, the chance to earn one through the Pride Patrol.
