"What's Your Game"

Date of release confirmed in Chris Cadman’s “Michael Jackson the Maestro” (“issued in November 1974”)

Chris Cadman, author, “Michael Jackson the Maestro”

Song written and produced by the Jackson 5, and recorded by four sisters managed by their father, M-D-L-T Willis (Maxine, Diane, LaVerne and Tina Willis) issued in November 1974 in the States (no UK released).

The sisters were discovered by father Joe at Peggy Fleming’s Ice Show at the beginning of 1973. It was during this period that the Jackson 5 was beginning to get frustrated at not being able to write and release their own material. The sisters toured for awhile with the Jackson 5 and appeared and played two numbers on Soul Train: ‘What's Your Game?’ and the single's B-side, "Runnin' and Pushin'".
