“My main ambition is to help make the Jackson Five even greater. I loved doing my solo record, ‘Got To Be There’, but it’s all for the J-5, you know?

“I’ve got to keep moving. I don’t like to stand around waiting for anybody. I believe that if you’ve got a tough job to do, something you don’t want to do, but have to, the best thing is to go ahead and do it. When we’re not on the road, we play baseball, basketball, go swimming. Or we’re having rehearsals, or wardrobe fittings, or going to school.”
