“Hi, ‘Valentine’ readers, this is Michael Jackson speaking to you from our hometown in Encino, California. We’ve made lots of records, but this is the first time we’ve ever talked to you personally on one. And it’s great to be able to talk, ‘especially to all the readers in my weekly Valentine column. On behalf of all of us, I’d like to thank you for caring so much about us, especially during our last trip. And we can’t wait to get back to the United Kingdom to see you all again. I’ve got all five of us sitting right here with me and each of my brothers would like to say a few words. Well, that’s all of us. It’s been great talking to our Valentine readers, and we’ll try to get back to Britain, just as soon as we can. Until then, be happy, and we’ll leave you now by doing what we do best.
