Chris Cadman, “Michael Jackson the Maestro” (Summary / Quotes from article)

Michael’s schedule for the day wasn’t that of the typical regular teenager of school, playtime and off to bed at normal hours. Instead it was early morning meetings, music practise, photo shoots, and then private tutoring.

All this before returning back to the studio to record new songs.

“I get very tired though. When we’re on tour everything is snatched meals, sleep and schooling. It can get you a bit mixed up and sometimes you really don’t know what day it is. But it’s exciting and it’s fun. All in all, I’m quite privileged to have so much so long.”

Michael expressed how he valued his spare time and how he used it. Swimming in the family pool was one, while another was a fame of baseball, sometimes against celebrity friends like The Temptations. He also loved being in the games room and watching TV.

“We have a games room, with pinball machines y’now, and things like that, and I maybe go there for awhile. But mainly when I’m on my own I watch telly. I’m a TV freak you see, I’ll just sit there watching anything and everything.”
