Music Star caught a quick chat with The Jackson 5 before they went on stage for their first UK show in November 1972. Michael said:

“I love performing. Sometimes I feel I could go on and on until the very last person as left.

“The frenzy of the concerts can really be exhausting. There are problems but mainly pleasant ones, like pretty girls trying to break through and kiss you!”

“Sometimes you get pushed and pulled by the crowd”, said brother Jermaine. “But it’s their way of showing their love for us. We really dig it.”

Michael continued:

“It’s hard work, but fun. As long as they want to hear me, ‘I’ll Be There’.”
