Upon first meeting Donny Michael said: “When I first met Donny the first thing I noticed about him was his huge grin and bubbling personality. And as we chatted more I found he had a real fun outlook on life. He kept telling me funny stories about some of the things that happen on an Osmond tour! Donny is a really happy guy.”
Donny replied: “The first thing I noticed about Michael was his groovy sense of humour! He was full of jokes, giggles and laughter!”
Michael admired Donny’s respect for other people. “I was really knocked out by Donny’s respect for other people. Whenever he spoke of his family or friends it was with respect, kindness and love’”
Michael spoke of Donny’s curiosity, his brothers and mischief making, when Donny wanted to play a trick on Alan Osmond and Tito Jackson by throwing a bucket of water over them. Donny in return spoke of Michael’s fashion sense, favourite sports and love of music.
On Michael’s family Donny said: “When I met Michael he was with his family and boy was I impressed. He has great respect for his mom and dad. It was so obvious too, how much the Jackson family love each other. It was a weird feeling for me cos’ it was like looking at a reflection of my family.”
