Date confirmed in Chris Cadman’s “Michael Jackson the Maestro” (“28th April, 1973”)
Chris Cadman, author, “Michael Jackson the Maestro” (article summary/quotes)
This interview had been cancelled twice due to the American child laws on working hours. Eventually however, the interview took place and was finally published in Pink magazine in April, 1973.
Michael was asked what life was like at home.
“We’ve got a mynah bird that never stops talking, and Jermaine has got a snake – a boa constrictor.”
“He calls him Crushy because, if you let him, Crushy will twist around your neck and crush you. He’s about six feet long.”
It’s revealed the family have a second home in Arizona, a huge ranch with 6,000 cattle.
“When we’re down there I ride all the time playing cowboys.”
