“Tiger Beat” magazine (1971), From Chris Cadman’s “Michael Jackson the Maestro” (article summary/quotes)

In Tiger Beat 1971 each of the Jackson brothers spoke of their memorable moments.

Michael’s were:

Buying their mother a house for her birthday as a thank you with royalties they had earned from their first hit record.

Visiting Disneyland for the first time, having only previously seen it on TV.

Remembering how he couldn’t sleep for weeks after recording his first single and didn’t relax until the fans love of it saw it shoot up the charts.

A sad moment he recalled was when the family lost their cat.

They had taken it in after finding it starving up an alley. They spent time getting it fit and healthy, but it later disappeared.
